Dan Kaempff "I am the mayor of Bandon, and on yesterday's Coos County Sheriff's Office police log, I noticed an item which said: "Winter Lake. Suspicious subject. Counter contact poss missing person from Eugene Ref: UTL (Unable to locate)." Obviously the person in dispatch was mistaken about where Mark Bosworth is from. But the case number is 58073 and this occurred on Sept. 23 at 11:04 a.m. From this, it appears that someone saw a person near the Winter Lake Road, which is a small road on the east side of Highway 42 between Myrtle Point and Coquille. The person went into the sheriff's office in Coquille and told them what they saw. It appears that someone went to the scene, but the log does not indicate how long had elapsed. If someone would contact the sheriff's office and ask about case number 58073 (or at least that is the number assigned to the log), they might have more information and a description of the person they saw. I keep wondering if, in his confused state of mind, he would try to return to one of the communities, like Bandon, where he had been with Cycle Oregon. My prayers are with the family. Bandon Mayor Mary Schamehorn (541-404-7291)"
