I-5 Access Road - Searched on September 20, 2011

Description

This was the area searched by myself and seven other volunteers on Septmeber 20, 2011. We walked in two groups on both sides of the road. The south side was a narrow strip between the service road and I-5. The north side consisted of a system of drainage ditches, open right of way next to the road, fields, and private drives/fences.

At at several of the businesses and domiciles along the road we stopped and spoke to local residents and distributed flyers.

It wasn't particularly easy to move away from the road as it's boardered by fences and blackberry brambles in many places.

We crawled into at least two culverts.
